Twitter Town Hall Today With President Obama

Exciting news today for social media users in the US- The White House will host their first “Twitter Town Hall” with President Obama. Regardless of your politics, I see this as a great move by the President and his staff. Not only are they communicating and connecting with the people in a way that more and more people are embracing, they are helping build the legitimacy of social networking as a platform and tool.
You can follow the event today, or even ask the President a question about jobs or the economy, by using the hashtag #AskObama. He and his staff will answer the questions. If the answer has the initials “B.O.” included, you’ll know it’s the President actually answering the questions.
